Privacy policy

A plain-English description of the current website and enquiry process.

Information you choose to send

The project brief forms on this website prepare an email in your own email application. The website does not currently submit or store that form content on a Cached Minds server. If you send the draft, your email provider and ours process the message.

An enquiry may contain your name, email address, company, phone number, project requirements, budget guidance, and any other information you include. Please do not send sensitive personal information through an initial enquiry.

How enquiry information is used

Information received by email is used to respond to you, understand the proposed work, prepare a scope or proposal, keep appropriate business records, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell enquiry information. It may be shared with professional advisers or service providers only where reasonably necessary to operate the business, deliver requested work, or comply with law.

Cookies and website measurement

This website does not currently install an analytics, advertising, or marketing tracker. It uses local browser storage only to remember the light or dark appearance you select. That preference stays on your device.

If optional analytics or other non-essential tracking is introduced, this notice and the consent controls will be updated before that technology is enabled.

Retention and security

Enquiry correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the conversation, a resulting client relationship, business records, dispute handling, or legal obligations. Appropriate access controls should be applied to the inbox and any systems used for client work.

No internet or email system is completely secure. Please use an agreed secure transfer method for credentials, confidential datasets, or other sensitive material.

Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to the use of your personal data, and to request a portable copy. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

To ask a privacy question or exercise a right, email hello@cachedminds.com. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed.

The legal identity and registered details of the operator must be inserted here before launch once the owner confirms the business status. This policy should also be reviewed by a qualified adviser for the operator's actual circumstances.
